Olivia Ferreira: On July 20th I completed my first year as a model, and I still find the experience incredible. With time you realize that it is a full time job, which requires more from you than the usual eight hours; there is a constant effort to improve yourself because it is a job that demands more from you every day. It motivates you to do better, because it shows you that the road to your dreams is much shorter than you thought. But when I dove into the role and started to love it, being a model became my dream. I think If you allow yourself to enjoy broadcasting, keep your mind open, and be yourself, you can discover a thousand different worlds every day in your users. You learn about other cultures and their particularities, that is what I take with me the most and what I have enjoyed the most. Being a model has been a completely different experience than expected, it has taught me to value human connections and interactions through distance.

CF: What has performing on cam taught you about yourself? Has it changed you?
OF: Modeling has taught me and changed me a lot. I have become more aware of my body and the power of my femininity. I have learned to love every mark on my body, but I have also learned to hide them—not out of embarrassment—but because camming inspires me to be my best every day. Throughout this year I have found the motivation to go to the gym, the strength to show off my imperfections, and the integrity to keep my self-esteem at a healthy level. I have learned that every day is a challenge, a constant effort, and overcoming that challenge makes me feel strong and independent. It has also changed my way of perceiving the world by rediscovering it every night thanks to my fans.

CF: How can a new fan steal your heart?
OF: I am a very distractible person. I tend to get lost in my own mind. But getting my attention is easy: give me a good conversation. I don't like pretentious people, so be yourself, and maybe make me smile. If you make me laugh you are on the path to romance. In other words, I like to flow with the universe and let things happen naturally. I love a person who brings me knowledge, who intrigues me. To fall in love, tulips and chocolates are a good start.

CF: What will a new fan like most about your private show?
OF: I am good at following orders! I am yours for those minutes or hours that the show lasts and my pleasure is in pleasing. OF: Knowing other points of view, and how people are living with this situation in different parts of the world, both individually and collectively. It’s fascinating how sex is seen during the pandemic. Sometimes it feels like a need bordering on obsession. Sometimes it feels like it has moved to another plane of existence, and all we really desire to do is cure our loneliness.
