So this is just a general observation and me thinking out loud. Obviously the ohmibod has become very popular. Some of my favorite models use it. I have sometimes peeked at other model's rooms and have noticed some discrepancies in reactions. From my understanding, ohmibod reacts to any sound correct, tips AND powerboosts. I have noticed a few, unnamed models who don't react to powerboosts as others I have seen. Is there any way to report the potential fraud happening. If OhMiBod reacts to all sounds, these models could be leading on customers into tipping absurd amounts of credits and faking their reactions. Just hoping for some clarification on how this works before we begin an unnecessary witch hunt. Quote

Each model I have seen reacts differently to the device. It also depends on the power setting levels they have set and intensity.
It's been happening for awhile and the members tip to see the model flopping about. it's there choice to spend as such and enjoy what they see. Quote

The models have control of the OhMiBod settings. Most just have them set to react to tips and have the power boosts turned off, however, the smart models that want to build their rep will turn the power boosts setting on along with the tip settings and before you know it they are at the top of the screen when you log in.

One of the reasons may be (and I say this because I discussed it with a regular model I visit) is that the power boosts have a more intensity to them and more than likely the model who has power boosts sounds turned off either can't handle it or they just are unaware.
The models do also have the ability to turn the intensity up or down according to the tip level. The model I visit seems to like it and he makes adjustments during his parties to turn the intensity up more and more when he's really getting into it.

I hope that helps....but it is not a scam.

If you think you are not getting the reaction you expect, there are hundreds of other models around that I'm sure you'll find that will hit the nail on the head for you....power boosts, tips and all.

This reply very late but just found this thread. The models can turn off sounds for tips and boosts, so turning off sound for boosts would make it not react. When it comes to the sensitivity level that is controlled by the remote part that links to the vibe part it has five levels. The sound from the tip and boosts if on just determines how long the vibe last cause of the length of the sound. All this does not matter thou if the vibe part is turned off, so look to see if the led light on it is blinking, cause if it is not then it has not been turned on. This info comes from the manual for the club vibe 2.0 as looked it up. This should be the same for all the other types of devices like this, Plus for like everything else in the world that uses some sort of power no light, no on. Quote

If you can see a purple flashing light then ohmibod is on (vibes might be set to low) but a red light means it's on standby and won't vibrate when you tip. Some girls are more sensitive to it than others. For example one girl who I always use to tipflood squirted instantly but some girls have told me they can't squirt regardless of level of intensity. Some girls do actually suffer from 'conditioning' (like Pavlovs experiment) whereby they hear the tip noise and moan even if the vibrating toy is actually not on them but on the bed (as I once saw). At the end of the day you tip for the reaction from the host and if they feel uncomfortable with high vibes so keep it on low don't be too disappointed. Quote

Yes, some models act or over-act. Why do you care? Suspend your disbelief and enjoy. It is likely the closest you will ever come to having sex with any of them. Ultimately this is fantasy; why dwell on this point?
