I just rented, and watched the live action movie "Thor" on d.v.d., and I recommend it to anyone, who knows of him, likes him, and into comic books.

A new live animated action Batman movie has came out called "Batman: Year One" to go with the other animation Batman ones. I got it to watch, and own on d.v.d., and is pretty good. The animation is really good with a fair amount of action. It is about Gotham City, and how Batman, and Lt. James Gordon started a friendship with each other.

Saw pics earlier in the week of the new Batwing from Dark Knight Rises - dammm - looks like he is keeping the tumbler as the baatmobile tho from the pics.

I'm prettymuch the biggest fan of the Tank Girl series that I know. I love Jamie Hewlett's work, and (as Disco pointed out,) I am a MASSIVE XMen fan as well. I'm also a big love of the Spawn series (especially the arc with Angela), and also the Harley Quinn series.
There are MANY more that I like but I'm being distracted at the moment >_>

I still go to Comic con every year, and will follow it to Vegas or NY.. I dont care where it goes
I'll be there getting my fix

I also like Manga
like Black Butler and Godchild/Earl Cain
H.S.O.T.D is the Best!
Dark and Gory or Gothic is good.

I love the Kabuki series by D. Mack. Sometimes (one book in particular) the narration gets a little sappy for me, but the story is the fucking tits as are the drawings.
Tank Girl, too, is a favorite of mine: all the Big flowers, beers, Tits, and cussing.

Though I've always thought of myself as a Catwoman, Yesterday I was called Wonder Woman, and I think for the first time I really dig that... I might have to ask my old Chem teacher to gift me her costume....

I don't get to read nearly enough comics. I bought some more Flashpoint the other day though. Super excited to read them.

Selkie, I LOVE Highschool of the Dead. I only watched the anime though. On the whole zombie note I also need to start reading the Walking Dead. I have no idea what I've been doing with my time. That has been on my list for a while now.

Any one else hear about how Marvel Lawyers fought to categorize their figures as Toys, not Dolls, to save on taxes?
Sounds simple;
but Toys are classified as being non-human animals, monsters or things,
where as Dolls are classified as depicting Humans, and Human qualities.
So the theme which is universal with Marvel Comics
of the struggle for equality and acceptance between Human and Mutant
is kind of spit on:

I haven't heard a statement by Marvel yet.
I wonder if it was something the legal department did to save money
and other departments didn't know...

Was released over this side of the pond on Apr 26th.

Bloody good movie, some great 1 liners mixed in with the action. And as for the scene part way thru the end credits. All I am gonna say is cant wait for all the interconnecting sequels ( Iron 3, Thor 2, Cap 2, Avengers 2 )
