I've noticed recently that my Flirt Rewards Points for my Current Level Progress bard are going down while 'Total Points Available for Redeem' and 'Lifetime Status Progress bar' seem to increment correctly.
I haven't redeemed any points recently, and yet I have lost over 800 points in two days toward my next rank.

Your current level is based on points accumulate in the past 365 days. If the number of points you earned in the last 365 days is less than the points you earned in 365 days ending yesterday, your current level will decrease. If you accumulate more points tomorrow, it may go up. This is perfectly normal based on your activity.
